Russia’s war machine is not invincible – and the Kremlin feels it. If the planned 9 May parade in Moscow does not feature military equipment, it will be the first time in many years.

Now is the time to increase pressure on Russia through sanctions targeting its oil revenues, military industry, banks, and shadow fleet.

As long as Russia continues its war against Ukraine and Europe, strong support for Ukraine must continue too. Air defence, joint defence production, and deeper European security cooperation remain essential to protecting lives.

We must move Russia to diplomacy.
