Russia used over 57,000 Shahed-type drones against Ukraine since 2022

Since the start of its full-scale invasion, Russia has used over 57,000 Shahed-type drones initially supplied by Iran against Ukraine. These same drones are used by Iran against countries in the Middle East and beyond.

The Iranian regime chose to become Putin’s accomplice, supplying not only drones but also the technology behind them. Iranian and Russian regimes support each other, and there is growing evidence, including Russian parts in Shahed drones, that now hit Iran’s neighbours.

The Iranian people deserve a chance to rid themselves of a terrorist regime and ensure safety to all nations hit by terror originating in Iran. The world is stronger than those who seek to destabilise it. We call on our partners to act decisively.
